Jessica Smith is a founder of The Rural Alabama Resource Center, a mission, purpose and calling she immediately fell in love with.
Jessica has spent more than a decade working in retail at Walmart locations across central Alabama. Working her way into leadership positions within the company while also working with the public, she has built a skillset that gives her the people skills necessary to connect with others, regardless of background, sexuality and gender.
A member of the LGBTQ+ community herself, Jessica recognizes the struggles and needs of the community. She has long advocated personally for the dignity, respect and equal treatment of every person she comes across.
Jessica is a native daughter of Cullman County and leads conversations within that community using a lifetime of connections.
